We process personal data only where necessary to provide and secure the website, answer enquiries, take pre-contractual or contractual steps, or comply with legal obligations. The website does not contain contact forms, user accounts or its own databases.

This website is provided through Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When the website is accessed, Netlify may process necessary connection data including IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and transferred data volume.

The processing serves the secure, stable and efficient provision of the website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Netlify may process data in the United States and identifies the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as safeguards. Data is deleted when it is no longer required and no legal or security-related reason requires longer retention. Relevant criteria include the period needed for operation and troubleshooting and, for security incidents, the duration of investigation and any necessary preservation of evidence.

When you contact us by phone or email, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, phone number, email address and enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contracts or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Enquiries are deleted after completion unless legal retention duties, a contractual relationship or legitimate reasons require longer storage.

A Google Maps map can be loaded on the contact page and the AutoScout24 dealer profile on the vehicles page. Both are blocked initially. A connection to the respective servers is established only after you allow the “External media” category.

Google Maps is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The embedded German AutoScout24 platform is provided by AutoScout24 GmbH, Tölzer Straße 16, 82031 Grünwald, Germany. Loading may process the IP address, browser and device data, referrer, time and usage data and may set cookies or comparable technologies.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Processing by Google or affiliated companies in third countries, particularly the United States, cannot be excluded. The iframes are not loaded without consent. You can change your choice at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics is configured with measurement ID G-57KKMCMZLQ. The analytics script is loaded only after consent.

If Google Analytics is enabled and you allow the “Analytics” category, Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is loaded. The service helps us understand how the website is used. It may process pseudonymous cookie identifiers, device and browser information, pages viewed, referrer, time and approximate location data. According to Google, GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. For EU traffic, the IP address is used to derive the approximate location and then discarded.

The legal basis is solely your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Google Signals, personalised advertising and advertising features are disabled. Consent may cause the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> to be set. These cookies are configured to expire no later than 184 days after creation; subsequent visits do not extend this period. Processing by Google LLC in the United States cannot be excluded. Our Analytics property retains event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Reset on new activity is enabled: new activity restarts the retention period for the relevant user. Google deletes expired data in its monthly deletion cycle. These periods apply to user-level and event-level data; aggregated standard reports are not affected.

You may withdraw consent at any time through “Privacy settings”; existing Analytics cookies for this website are then deleted and further Analytics collection is disabled, including in other open tabs of the same website and browser profile. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data already lawfully sent to Google; please contact us with erasure requests.

Your choices saved in browser local storage are valid for 184 days after saving. Expired entries are removed on the next visit or when an open page checks their expiry; we then ask again. The website cannot delete local entries while the browser is closed. You can change the choice through “Privacy settings”.

• topgarage_consent: stores version, date and choices for analytics and external media.

These entries are not automatically sent to our servers. The language choice is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Storing the selection serves to manage and demonstrate consent under Article 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Article 7(1) GDPR.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. It is then deleted unless legal retention duties, contractual relationships or the establishment or defence of legal claims require longer storage. Recipients are only the technical providers identified in this policy and authorities or advisers where a legal duty or other valid legal basis applies.

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, receive data in a portable format and object. You can withdraw consent at any time with future effect, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.
